Oilers face even more major injury scares after McDavid, Draisaitl, and Skinner

With only 11 more games left until the playoffs begin, the Oilers are trying their best to stay healthy, but players keep dropping like flies with injuries.
Zach Hyman was tangled up in a collision with Stars forward
Mason Marchment and a referee, and went down awkwardly. Hyman's left knee appeared to be the point of injury, and the famously tough forward had to leave the game for a few moments.
Soon after that, Evan Bouchard blocked a shot and limped around the ice for a few moments before finally getting a stoppage. Bouchard also went down the tunnel, but thankfully returned to the game too.
It's a positive sign that both players were able to return to the lineup, but it's clearly not ideal to sustain these kinds of injuries before the playoffs. Players will gut through the pain to stay in the lineup in the playoffs, but it would be much better to be fully healthy.
Oilers may consider shutting down a few veterans down the stretch
Soon the Oilers may have a tough choice to make to either pursue home ice advantage in the playoffs.
Considering these injury scares with two more stars in Hyman and Bouchard, as well as those to McDavid and Draisaitl, Edmonton may want to rest players.
Mattias Ekholm may be another player to consider resting down the stretch after another unusually tough performance last night. The veteran still may be fighting through an issue, and they should prioritize full health before the playoffs.
These injury scares racking up just before the playoffs is a concerning sight for the Oilers - now they'll need McDavid and Draisaitl to step up and carry them upon return.
