Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid called out a reporter when asked a question regarding the extra pressure he may feel to win Game 6 and bring the series back to Edmonton for Game 7.

McDavid didn't mince words after hearing the absurd question as he is aware of how much pressure there is to win as the Panthers are currently up 3-2 in the series.

McDavid ready and waiting for Game 6 with Cup in the building

«That's a pretty heavy question,» McDavid said with Edmonton facing elimination in the Stanley Cup final. «I don't think about it that way. If you think about it that way, you'd be probably pretty crippled in terms of how you prepare and how you play. - Connor McDavid
The Oilers are aware of what's at stake for Game 6 as the team looks to rebound and send the series back to Edmonton for Game 7.
The margin of error is at 0 for the Oilers and they will need to find a way to play the game that they know how to play and will themselves to a win.
«The Cup will be in the building,» McDavid said of Game 6. «Those are games that you dream of. Obviously, it's not for us, but any time the Cup's in the building and you're playing, it's a good sign.» - Connor McDavid

Oilers will need score the first goal to help dictate the pace

The Oilers face several challenges as the Panthers have been playing exceptional hockey throughout the series, and it will come down to the Oilers scoring first and holding the lead which they've had trouble throughout the entire Stanley Cup Finals.
Corey Perry spoke about having led and hopes that the team will have a strong start which could lead to the Oilers winning the contest.
«It would be nice to go out there and play with the lead,» said Oilers forward Corey Perry, competing in his sixth final. «That's our goal - to start strong, get that first one and play from there.» -- Corey Perry

Many Oilers fans hope they can pull it off and bring the cup home for Game 7 and hoist their 6th Stanley Cup in their history.
Game 6 will take place on Tuesday June 17th and game time will be at 8:00 PM eastern.
