Oilers capture amazing team reaction to Hyman's historic goal on live mic

During last night's game against the Ottawa Senators, Hyman scored his 50th goal of the season and the Oilers captured the team's incredible reactions on a set of live microphones.
As both he and McDavid discussed the play, it almost seemed too easy that Hyman managed to get his 50th. His teammates on the ice and on the bench continued to give him loud cheers, pats on his head and even some saying it was a matter of time.
After the game, he spoke about his great achievement as many of his family were in the stands watching.
«A special moment, obviously, for me and my family,» Hyman said. «I've said it before, but when you become an NHL player, so many people have sacrificed and have driven you to rinks, my parents and uncles, everybody chips in to help you when you're a professional athlete at this level. There are so many people who have sacrificed. My wife watching the kids by herself half the time. I think it means just as much or more to them to see you have success.»
This milestone was a long time coming as his game has taken a new level over the past two seasons. After spending several years with the Maple Leafs organization and never breaking past 45 points a year, Hyman chose to go elsewhere and signed a seven-year deal with the Oilers at a modest $5.5 million AAV.
Several pundits across the NHL have stated that his contract is one of the best contracts in the league considering his output he's producing. He had looked so confident on his line and after 68 games played, he has scored 50 goals with 19 assists for 69 points and is a + 30 with 42 penalty minutes.
It's a great moment for Hyman and for the Oilers organization as he will continue to soar to new heights and continue to be a bargain for the contract he signed.
