Oilers analyst predicts massive change for Connor McDavid this season

Connor McDavid had a noticeable down year in his scoring for the first time in a while, and analysts are predicting he could have a massive bounce back season this year.
McDavid registered 100 points in 67 games last season, his lowest scoring season by game since his rookie year. At one point, the Captain had only 3 points in 5 games and was a -12. It was arguably the worst slump of his career, and he opened up on it after the 4 Nations Tournament.

It's almost absurd to imagine 100 points in 67 games is a down year for McDavid, and yet it is. At 28 years old in the prime of his career and extremely motivated after 2 Cup Final losses, McDavid will be on a mission this season.
Oilers analyst Mark Spector identified McDavid's down year, and fully expects him to bounce back with a season of 130 points or more.
There's a few factors that may have went into the down year for McDavid. They've played tons of hockey over the last two years with long playoff runs and a condensed season with the 4 Nations Tournament. Some fatigue would be understandable at this point.
But McDavid has also shown himself to be a machine that never fails to rise to the occasion. After an unusually lower scoring season, he'll be more personally motivated than ever to dominate the scoresheet next year.
