Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard had the referees on his side as they told him not to retaliate after the Panthers were thrown into the penalty box for several players causing scrums that annoyed the officials.

During the most serious scrum, many Panthers players went after Oilers players well after the whistle had blown. As the officials tried to get control of the situation, defenseman Evan Bouchard was told not to retaliate as he was about to receive a five on three power play. Bouchard backed off and let everything unfold.
As expected, it's been a tough and rough series for both teams as the Panthers play that kind of style where they use their physicality to wear their opponents down and pick up the puck in both zones.
Game four seems to have been a turning point for the Oilers as they may have found a formula that may work against Florida goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky and the Florida defense. The Oilers have no room for error in Game 5 as another elimination game faces them and the Florida Panthers will be prepared as this game likely had no effect on them.
Game five, will be on Tuesday June 18th in sunrise FL and puck drop will be at 8:00 PM eastern.
