Massive update about Leon Draisaitl's personal life revealed by insider

Many of the Edmonton Oilers are expected to be in attendance, including Connor McDavid. According to a new report from Oilers insider Bob Stauffer, the wedding date is set for the first weekend in August.

Draisaitl officially proposed to Desjardins last July, and their wedding will be just over a year later in the first weekend of August. Celeste Desjardins is an actress from Sudbury Ontario.

The German Oilers superstar will be opting for a destination wedding in Paris, France. Draisaitl revealed he took a trip during the 4 Nations Faceoff to scout out the wedding location, although he would've much rather been playing.

It's great to see the Oilers superstar thriving both on and off the ice, and happy to build his life in Edmonton with his soon-to-be wife.

Desjardins is also thrilled to be staying in Edmonton for another 8 seasons, which she showed in a heartfelt social media post after Draisaitl signed his contract.

It should be a great weekend for Draisaitl and Desjardins, and likely many other Oilers in attendance.

Hopefully plenty of content comes from the wedding, and it gives a chance for the Oilers to come together and let loose before another long season.
