Leon Draisaitl has heartwarming reaction after reaching another 50 goal season

There were some Oilers fans who thought there may be a concern with rushing Draisaitl back from injury too soon, but he erased all concern with yet another dominant performance.

This is Draisaitl's 4th season of scoring 50 goals or more, and when asked about who he would share this moment with the most - the superstar mentioned talking to his parents as the only thing important to him with a beaming smile on his face.

It's a reminder of how much these elite hockey players still lean on their parents for support, and their parents are their biggest supporters.

Draisaitl's comments are a bit of a reminder of last year's incredibly emotional video from the Oilers featuring family messages before the Cup Final. Draisaitl's mother was one of the family members featured.

Other than his family, the people that Draisaitl will share the accomplishment of 50 goals with most are the guys in the room that helped him get there.

The Oilers were clearly pumped for Draisaitl to reach the milestone of 50 goals, as their mic'd up footage of the goal is pretty much just constant screaming.

Although Draisaitl's personal accomplishment was something to be proud of, scoring the tying and game winning goal is much more important to the Oilers star. A clutch performance like this while coming back from injury may give Draisaitl an extra push to nudge out Nathan MacKinnon for the Hart Trophy this season.

To secure the MVP trophy Draisaitl will need to continue to dominate down the stretch too, and given his insane level of play this season, it's nearly a guarantee that will happen. Draisaitl has had his sights set on greatness all year.
