It appears that the Dallas Stars have taken extreme security measures after their Game 3 drubbing by the Edmonton Oilers as the team boarded its charter bus to go to the JW Marriott.

What's interesting about these measures is that the hotel is across the street from the arena and it was mentioned that this was for the players safety yet there is a pedway that connects both Rogers Place and the hotel.

Stars management taking no chances with their players

The Stars organization has no desire for their players to interact with any Edmonton fans as the team attempts to regroup from Game 3.
This measure is nothing new as this occurred last year when the Oilers met the Stars and many teams also adopt these policies for player protection.
Both teams are not looking for any incidents between fans and players if the situation becomes out of control.

Oilers enjoyed great team game and their offensive abilities

Game 3 was an indication that the Oilers offence is beginning to gear up and flex its muscles as the Oilers managed to score two goals in less than 40 seconds during the first period which put the team up 2-0 quickly.
It's clear the Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner has enjoyed his resurgence over the past several games as he has recorded 3 shutouts and a one goal game in his past five starts.
Connor McDavid managed to score two goals along with Oilers start forward Zach Hyman as the team cruised to their victory and is savoring for their next game.
The Oilers still gear in the series as they await the arrival of their star defenseman Mattias Ekholm who is close to returning to the lineup and will give the Oilers a deeper look.
Despite the great play, the Oilers are being cautious and being humbled that game 4 is just another game and that the stars can beat teams soundly.
Game 4 will return to its normal time of 8:00 PM on Tuesday May 27th we're the Oilers hope that they can strike again and take two off the row nice before heading back to Dallas.
