Dallas Stars fans show incredible generosity to Ben Stelter's Foundation
News broke today that the Dallas Stars fanbase has been active with their donations to the Ben Stelter's Foundation as it has now passed $10,000.
It's been nearly two years since the passing of then 6 years old Ben who touched the lives of the organization, the Oilers fanbase and even hockey fans around the league as he attended every Oilers playoff home game that year while undergoing treatment for brain cancer.
With all the support to Ben and his family, time ran out and Stelter succumbed to his cancer on Aug 20th, 2022, which sent mass condolences across the continent and many NHL organizations.
It's truly amazing that the people of Dallas are willing to send their dollars in these hard economic conditions to help this cause north of the border. All donations are to help with children battling brain cancer.
We thank the people of Dallas and area for their donations.
Game 3 in the series will be in Edmonton and set to start tonight May 27th at 8:30 pm eastern.
