Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid had a message to all Oilers doubters that thought the team was heading out rapidly this playoff as they won 4-3 in overtime in game four against the Los Angeles Kings.

It's been a story of the series where the Kings had the edge, but the Oilers have come back and taken two games and now have made it a best of three as the series switches back to Los Angeles.

McDavid never doubts his teams resolve in this playoff

«We could've easily gone out there, mailed it in, and headed to L.A. and try to dig our way out, but I thought everyone just dug in,» said McDavid after the game. «I'm sure there's lots of people doubting us still, but we like it that way.» - Connor McDavid
The Oilers have been receiving clutch hockey from their stars including two goals last night from Evan Bouchard along with McDavid and Draisaitl taking the team and putting them on their backs.
They also received some great play from Corey Perry who was had a great season at 39 years old especially with his offensive production.
«We've had lots of looks in the first two nights we played them,» said Draisaitl, who helped set up Corey Perry for the first man-advantage marker and scoring his own on the game-winner. «Lots of chances that could've gone in where we're close and maybe we're not as sharp in connecting on those. The last two nights, we've beared down and we're looking to continue that.» - Leon Draisaitl

Momentum swinging in the Oilers favour as series continues

Now is the best of three, the Oilers seems to have the momentum swinging into their favor as the team settles and learns how to beat the Kings.
The team will need to continue to dig in and got out these close games while giving themselves a good defensive effort. It's likely head coach Kris Knoblauch will stick with Calvin Pickard as the goaltender of choice.
The Oilers will face off against the kings on April 29th at 10:00 PM eastern at Crypto.com Arena.
