Jack Roslovic is set to submit a restrictive 4-team trade list to the Oilers this week, but Edmonton will likely be keeping him around.

The Edmonton Oilers signed Roslovic to an unusual contract during the first game of the season. His contract included a no-move clause and 4 team trade list kicking in on November 1st, essentially acting as a tryout period with the team.

Oilers analyst reveals team's likely decision on future of Jack Roslovic

Through his first few games with the team, Roslovic struggled to make an impact right away. However, he's picked up as he's spent more time with the team.
Roslovic has developed some considerable chemistry with Leon Draisaitl in recent games, and it began to shine through against the Vancouver Canucks.
According to Oilers analyst Zach Laing, this chemistry with Draisaitl will be enough to keep him around.
Of Roslovic's 117 minutes, 35 have been with Draisaitl, with them outscoring the opposition 4-0, controlling 55.3 percent of the shot attempt share, 52.5 percent of the expected goal share, and 57.1 percent of the scoring chance share.

These numbers will change as the sample size continues to grow, but all of the early signs make one thing clear: Jumpin' Jack Flash is here to stay.

Roslovic scored 22 goals last season with the Carolina Hurricanes, and only one came at even strength.
If he can tap into that offensive success and be elevated with Leon Draisaitl, he could be an extremely productive player for the Oilers at only $1.5M, and they won't be trading him out when before his trade clause kicks in.
