Ray Ferraro gives scathing report on the state of the Oilers

It's becoming clear by many in the NHL and the Oilers fan base that the goaltending situation is becoming dire by the day. With Stuart Skinner currently in the drivers seat and holding the team together, the Oilers are one goaltender injury away from complete disaster.
This need along with finding another top six player to play with Leon Draisaitl was explained by former NHL star Ray Ferraro on the Got Yer Back podcast.
Ferraro, lead an illustrious career with the NHL which span from 1984 through 2002. After his retirement, he went into broadcasting for numerous networks, was the colour commentator at ice level and became a voice for a very popular video game.
Aside the goaltending problems, it's evident that Evander Kane is not having a great season and is not producing the points that's needed to be on the top 6.
The Oilers are designed to have two dangerous lines and be able to score at will. Superstars like Draisatil need a dependable set of wingers to make the plan work.
General manager Ken Holland has his work cut out for him as the flat cap issue along with his own cap crunch may prevent him from making the necessary trades.
One thing is for certain, If the Oilers do not acquire a new goaltender soon, it may not matter who they put in the front lines.
