During his time with the Edmonton Oilers, Mikko Koskinen was unfairly derided by the fans. On June 13th of 2022, it was announced that the veteran goaltender would be joining HC Lugano for 2 years. Lots of ppl owe Mikko Koskinen an apology, LOTS OF PPL! <div align='center' class='pl20 pr20'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/oilers_life/status/1720916885880111234'> </a></blockquote></div> With 83-59-13, a .907 save percentage, and a 2.98 GAA in the NHL, Koskinen had a record that only Jack Campbell could dream of right now. Even during some of Edmonton's rough years, Koskinen held down the crease, averaging a .905 save percentage. It's hard to be consistent with Jack Campbell and Stuart Skinner, a supposed dynamic duo. Koskinen got so much disrespect btw. He averaged like a .905 here. Miles better than Campbell. <div align='center' class='pl20 pr20'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/Shae_Nuge93/status/1720897785673990217?s=20&fbclid=IwAR0qy5CodobYq7r3QXvfhJEGvx4QM196j6xoxaMcJzAurhj5W8oYKl71EoM'> </a></blockquote></div> In his last season with the Oilers, Koskinen had a 27-12-4 record with a .903 save percentage and a 3.10 goals-against average. The fans should be grateful for what they once had. <div class='youtube_container'><iframe class='youtube_video' src='https://www.youtube.com/embed/PdJjSONQOXY?si=LjXOcepUg5UUtOYB' width='100%' loading='lazy' frameborder='0' title='' allow='autoplay; fullscreen' allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
