The Edmonton Oilers will have a chance to become the first Canadian team to win a Stanley Cup in 31 years, but unfortunately iit will be a road game. Still, the City of Edmonton is making their presence felt.

Explore Edmonton, the city's department of tourism, has rented out a few billboards in Florida to taunt Panthers fans. Just outside Amerant Bank Arena in Florida is an advertisement to come to Edmonton, marketing it as:

The home of 5 cups and 0 rats.'

The sign obviously harkens back to the incredible success the Oilers have had in the past, and also at the absence of Matthew Tkachuk - which is a positive for most hockey fans, even though he's a fantastic player.

In all, it's just a playful jab from a hockey crazed city during the Stanley Cup Final, and it's what makes Edmonton so special. Canadian airlines have charted entirely new flights from Edmonton to Florida for Oilers fans to travel, and it may end up being a near even crowd in the stands.

The billboards were installed near the beginning of the series, but are just starting to go viral now. NHL writer Dan Rosen noticed the sign on his way into the arena today, and hockey fans loved the friendly jab between cities for the Cup Final.

Edmonton's chances to win this series after losing the first few games were incredibly slim, and they've already made history by coming back to force a Game 7. Still, no one remembers a near-comeback. The Oilers have full belief that they can finish the job tomorrow night in Florida and win the first Stanley Cup in the Connor McDavid era.
