Connor McDavid made one of the nicest plays in his career to set up a Leon Draisaitl goal in Game 2 against the Florida Panthers, and the opposing team can't help but admit it was an unstoppable force.

Panthers defenceman Aaron Ekblad is a longtime friend of Connor McDavid, and after getting completely walked on the play, had to give props to the Oilers superstar.

Aaron Ekblad responds to getting totally walked by Connor McDavid

McDavid received a pass at the top of the zone and proceeded to attack the front of the net with speed, and completely walking through Aleksander Barkov and Aaron Ekblad.
The Panthers defender poked, guessed the wrong way, and ended up stumbling over himself while McDavid fired a perfect pass to Draisaitl. It was the exact definition of an ankle-breaking deke, and Ekblad just had to recognize this was a 'McJesus' play.
It's the kind of play that's beautiful for any hockey fan to witness. Ekblad will be stumbling over his stick in the highlight reels for decades, and even he just appreciates the talent it took to pull off.
When a reporter asked McDavid about how he even came to successfully make plays like that, Draisaitl had to jump in to say that no one else possibly could - that McDavid the greatest of all time.
You can't learn that. Let me answer it for you, it's just him.

- Leon Draisaitl
It was an otherworldly goal, but for Connor McDavid it means nothing. It's just means to an end for him now, with the Stanley Cup the only thing left.
