Oilers reveal starting goalie and line changes at practice before Game 5

Stuart Skinner was pulled again in Game 4, and Calvin Pickard once again came in to backstop the Oilers to an incredible win. Now with a 7-0 record and a higher save percentage, Pickard just may be the better goalie right now.

According to Oilers reporters at practice, the Oilers will only be making minor tweaks to the lineup other than the switch to Pickard.

Viktor Arvidsson will come into the lineup as Kasperi Kapanen is scratched, and Stecher is back playing with Nurse. Corey Perry is getting the bump to play alongside Leon Draisaitl, while Evander Kane has been demoted the 4th line.

Jeff Skinner, Adam Henrique, and Trent Frederic will stay together for a second straight game, looking to replicate their success from an incredible Game 4 performance.

These changes all seem to be good moves from Coach Knoblauch, but the most important factor will just be showing up on time, and staying out of a first period parade to the penalty box. The Oilers are great at doing it, but don't want to be in a position to force another miraculous comeback.

Hopefully Pickard can maintain his perfect record, and take the Oilers one step closer to the ultimate goal. With the Stanley Cup Final down to a best of three, every single shift from every single player will matter.
