The award will officially be announced at 4PM MT before the Game, but the surprise appears to have already been spoiled.
Last week, a picture leaked of Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck posing the Hart and Vezina trophies. He may be unable to attend in person tomorrow, and the NHL instead shot a pre-recorded segment.
Hellebuyck had an otherworldly season this year, posting a .925 save percentage, 2.00 goals against average, leading the league in Goals Saved Above Expected, and played a league-high 63 games. Taking the Jets to a first place finish, Hellebuyck was undoubtedly Winnipeg's best player.

It'll sting for Leon Draisaitl not to win his second Hart Trophy of his career after such a dominant season, and a rare case where he was legitimately better than McDavid for the majority of the year.
If Draisaitl did end up playing 11 more games and adding more to his totals, perhaps the MVP trophy would've still been within reach. At least he'll add a Rocket Richard to the shelf, and he's still playing for the Stanley Cup.
We'll see if the leak is real tomorrow afternoon when the Hart Trophy is officially announced.
