former enforcer takes shot at both teams in Alberta
This season, the Edmonton Oilers made noticeable improvements with the addition of much-needed depth in their bottom six, thanks to Ken Holland.
Their overall points as a team also improved, but despite this progress, there are always critics who find flaws in every team.
One such critic is a retired enforcer John Scott, who had negative things to say about both the Calgary Flames and the Edmonton Oilers.
While technically correct about the Flames regressing, he dissed the Oilers, who were clearly the better team in Alberta.
It seems he has now shifted his support to the Vegas Golden Knights for the post-season, but it's worth noting that he only played in one post-season with the Chicago Blackhawks back in 2010-2011.
So, while he may be criticizing the talented Edmonton team, it's important to remember that he never had the opportunity to play with such skilled teams as the Golden Knights or the Oilers during his career.
