REPORT: TSN Analyst Drops a Bomb Regarding The Edmonton Oilers

When this was revealed, many Oilers fans were quite shocked how the Oilers could afford Karlsson's huge $11.5 million contract good through the 2026-27 season.

The other factor would be why are the Oilers going after an offensive defenceman, when they really need a shut-down type defender? Karlsson is hitting all kinds of records offensively this season. He currently has 17 goals, 53 assists in 53 games. He is tied with Connor McDavid in assists, that's how good he is this season.
