Player shoots chicken nugget off ice, gets misconduct penalty
Sometimes, the minor leagues are referred to as jungle leagues, and this recent ECHL game reminds hockey fans of that nickname. As the game began to get rowdy, the crowd began throwing food, and soon enough chicken nuggets were spotted on the ice.
Off the faceoff, forward Kirill Tyutyayev spotted the nugget, and immediately shot it back into the crowd.
Hilariously, Tyutyayev received a ten minute misconduct penalty for shooting the foreign object back into the crowd.
No information was available about what happened to the fan, but it's likely that they were kicked out for disturbing the game. In the rare occurrence this happens, especially in the NHL, it's always hilarious to see.
