Oilers Have Their Eyes On Three Big Names

The Edmonton Oilers have been a hot topic around the NHL as they continue their goal to build off of last year's playoffs where the Oilers would reach the Western Conference Finals, where they would lose to the Colorado Avalanche who would go on to win the Stanley Cup.

Unfortunately things are not going to be easy in a solid Pacific Division with the Las Vegas Golden Knights running things so far this season. However, as we know Oilers General Manager Ken Holland is always looking at ways to improve his club like bringing Evander Kane into line up which turned out to be a great decision.

So when it comes to this season the Oilers are banged up and could definitely use some help in depth and defence.

There's been plenty of talk of acquiring Habs defenceman Joel Edmundson, but according to Oilers Insider Allan Mitchell, the Oilers are also interested in acquiring (one of) San Jose Sharks defenceman Erik Karlsson, Chicago Blackhawks Center Max Domi, and Arizona coyotes defenceman Jakob Chychrun.

Obviously they won't be able to acquire all of them due to cap space but adding a Max Domi, and or a Erik Karlsson or Jakob Chychrun would be huge and would definitely make an impact in the lineup, especially Karlsson who looks rejuvenated this season in San Jose.
