NHL Fans Are in an uproar over this announcement regarding the Battle of Alberta at the Heritage Classic

So it only makes sense that an Alberta music act would perform at the event, right? All of it seems logical given their friendship with Connor McDavid.

Nickelback, one of Alberta's own musical acts, will perform at the Heritage Classic on October 29th.

The best-selling act is spicing up this Canadian event, and fans are angry and uproarious about the band.

Given that we're not Nickelback fans here, it's hilarious. Machine Gun Kelly played the All-Star Game, so Nickelback isn't out of the ordinary.

Their association with the NHL dates back to Wayne Gretzky's time with the Phoenix Coyotes.
