It was a very important game for the Edmonton Oilers Thursday night in Rogers place vs the Tampa Bay Lightning.
With the Oilers pursuit of getting back to the playoffs all points matter and tonight was a statement game win for the Oilers.
During the second period with the Oilers up 1-0 Lightning's Pat Maroon would knocked down Connor McDavid with a cheap hit. Leon Draisaitl would make Maroon pay by scoring a powerplay goal then giving Maroon the stink eye right after was classic.
