Arber Xhekaj Calls Out Radko Gudas During LIVE Interview
The Montreal Canadiens welcomed the Florida Panthers to the Bell Centre Thursday night to a very intense match up with 3 fights and over 90 minutes of penalties between the two teams.
However, one matchup fans were looking to see is between Panthers defenceman Radko Gudas and Canadiens defenceman Arber Xhekaj. The only issue is Gudas appears to want no part of Xhekaj.
During tonight's game Gudas would take a run a Canadiens forward Kirby Dach. Ironically for some reason Gudas seems to like to take shots at Dach, during last season in a game between the Florida Panthers and Dach's former team the Chicago Blackhawks, Gudas would nail Dach with this check.
The difference between then and now is Dach's new teammates took exception to Gudas in the form of the Canadiens beast Arber Xhekaj. It's appears Gudas wants no part of Xhekaj, when he was challenged to a fight Gudas refused to answer the Bell.
After the Game Xhekaj was asked about why Gudas wouldn't answer his challenge to which he replied:
He never does. I don't know what's up with that guy. He'll be taking runs at guys knees all game. He does play hard I'll give it to him. But at some point gotta show that you're going to be able to do that.
