Gary Bettman Just Proved He Chooses Money Over Happy Fans
After the NHL decided to introduce digital board commercials this season, who would want to subscribe to NHL TV for an eye-searing game? In certain broadcasts, players have disappeared, and the puck is occasionally no longer visible.
Bettman says that digital dasherboard ad backlash is a «non-issue» because their polling indicates fans find games more watchable with those digital ads replacing physical ones
Take a look at some of the failures so far this season to see how Bettman can't allow the fact that a project's failure results in more income being earned from it to be an issue.
These are only a handful of the examples out of the collection of blunders thus far, and 2,000 followers voted on how they felt about the ads- 91% of them were not thrilled.
