Fans are furious over a recent announcement by the Edmonton Oilers
As an all-inclusive sports organization, the Edmonton Oilers haven't changed their philosophy yet.
The Pride Cup will be held at the Ice District on August 27th. The tournament will feature a Community Leaders Game, NHL & WHL Alumni Game, and Pride Cup Championship.
Join us for an incredible event from 10AM-2PM including:
🇨🇦 Community Leaders game
🏒 NHL & WHL Alumni game
🏆 Pride Cup Championship game
Not to mention a drag brunch, live entertainment, food, prizes, and more!!!

The announcement, however, didn't go over well with NHL fans, who reacted viscerally on "X" formerly Twitter.
