Edmonton Oilers Team Hosts Players Only Meeting
Sportsnet's Mark Spector revealed that the Edmonton Oilers had a ''players only'' meeting after enduring two back-to-back losses, a 2-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets and a heartbreaking 6-2 loss against the Kraken after the Oilers had a 2-0 lead.
A player only meeting is usually initiated by the Team's Captain, in this case it's Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid.
The meeting must've worked as the Oilers as they would go on to dominate the New York Islanders just days later, and take a 4-2 win. The Oilers are hosting the defending Cup Champions tonight and it'll be interesting to see if the Oilers can keep the momentum swinging.
