Despite being undersized as a winger, Unger Sörum's offensive abilities are on par with other successful Swedish hockey players currently playing in the NHL, such as Victor Olofsson, Pierre Engvall, and Jonatan Berggren, who all have a ppg average of close to or over 1.1. Although Engvall is on the lower side.
During the u18 Worlds, Unger Sörum was just outside of the top 10 players in scoring and in the top 8 for assists.
He may still be a work in progress, as he needs to gain some size and improve his skating, but he could be an excellent option as a winger if he's available later in the draft.
Whether or not Ken Holland decides to trade down, NHL Central Scouting currently ranks Unger Sörum at #57 of all European Skaters available in the NHL draft.
