Connor McDavid Had Some Words to Say About Connor Bedard in Recent Interview

The most trending name in hockey at the moment is seventeen year old rookie sensation Connor Bedard. Bedard is coming off a Gold Medal win as he represented his country on Team Canada at the 2022-23 World Junior Hockey Championships. Bedard tallied up several tournament records and made history several times throughout the tournament.

Bedard tallied up the most goals, assists, shots and points as a Canadian to ever partake in the World Juniors, as well as most points in tournament history, surpassing NHL legend Peter Forsberg.

Bedard has dominated so much throughout the past several months that he's being compared to former first overall pick, and arguably the best player in the world, Connor McDavid. That is quite the bold comparison as Bedard is projected to go first overall, and Oilers fans all know what a first overall bust can very well look like (cough, Nail Yakupov).
