Chicago Blackhawks Goaltender Being Accused of Cheating After Video Footage Surfaces
The goaltender for the Toronto Maple Leafs and many other goalies in the league have been exposed for knocking the net off its pegs as soon as the other team has a lot of momentum and zone time. As a result, the referee is forced to blow the play dead.Matt Murray can be seen doing it not once, not twice, but three times below:
This was the case for the Chicago Blackhawks' game against the Ottawa Senators last week, which the Blackhawks would unexpectedly win, but not without some controversy as goaltender Petr Mrazek apparently got caught intentionally knocking his net off the pegs by the media and fans.
#Blackhawks are lucky Petr Mrazek didn't get penalized for this
It very well looks like Mrazek extended his arm towards the goal post for no reason at all, and it looks worse if you watch it in slow-motion..
Do you think it was intentional?
