Jakub Lauko, an NHL prospect who was selected by the Boston Bruins organization with the 77th overall pick in 2018, is a part in the most recent "scandal." This claim may be seen on his Twitter profile under his "favorited/liked" tweets. He has been accused of racism.
With massive fan bases that reach in the hundreds of thousands, hockey is a very public sport. It's rather shameless of him to like these types of things because many athletes are well aware of how important their reputation is and how situations like this won't be disregarded.
