It was known several months ago that Patrick Kane and his agent would look into the NHL trade market in January or February of 2023. Many people questioned the reports, but now that Kane has actually been traded away from the Chicago Blackhawks, it is regrettable that they are now accurate and cannot be refuted, Blackhawks fans are in shambles.
Besides these difficult times, Patrick Kane and Blackhawks fans should be thrilled for him because he is today reuniting with his best friend, New York Rangers forward Artemi Panarin. Panarin was mistreated and traded away, just like many of Kane's close pals in Chicago.
The St. Louis Blues' star player Vladimir Tarasenko was also recently acquired by the Rangers, showing just how all-in they are. It will be really unusual seeing Kane in a new jersey, so we hope he can find pleasure in New York.
