The NHL's trade deadline is March 3rd, and while many teams are counting down the days until they can make those last-minute offers, other teams, such as the San Jose Sharks, Chicago Blackhawks, Anaheim Ducks, and Arizona Coyotes, already have a game plan in place. These teams are going to be sellers in order to acquire assets for their current rebuild.

By making a late-night trade, the San Jose Sharks have shown that they won't wait until the NHL trade deadline on March 3rd to start doing business.
The San Jose Sharks have traded defenseman Jaycob Megna to the Seattle Kraken in exchange for a fourth-round draft pick.
