Breaking news has sent ripples through the hockey world as the QMJHL unveils fresh safety protocols for the upcoming 2023-24 season, placing a sweeping ban on fighting.

-In the event of any altercation, both involved players will be promptly ejected from the match.
-Players initiating fights will now be met with an automatic one-game suspension.
-Additionally, the player identified as the primary instigator will face a minimum two-game suspension.
-What's more, any player partaking in two or more fights within a season will incur an automatic one-game suspension.
