20 year veteran has passed away after a tragic accident
We are very sad to announce another passing to the hockey community, Dale Harrop has passed away at the age of 33 after a tragic accident.
The hockey community almost feels cursed this year of 2022, as this is another unfortunate incident to occur, which has resulted in death.
Dale was a member of the New Zealand National Ice Hockey team and has been representing them for many years, dating back to when he was 15 years of age.
He has sadly passed away due to a tragic accident while surfing.
Dale Harrop, member of the New Zealand National Ice Hockey team, has passed away at the age of 33 in a tragic surfing accident.
Harrop had eight goals and 45 points through 71 games played with the New Zealand national team, who he had been representing since 2004 when he was 15 years old.
