Filip Hronek unleashes ruthless chirp on Flames following scrum
Tuesday night was an important game for the Vancouver Canucks, as are most games at this time of the year. The Canucks needed just one point in Tuesday's game against the Calgary Flames to clinch the Pacific Division title, so there was extra incentive to win.
Late in the second period with the Canucks up 3-0 on the Flames, a scrum broke out in front of the team's benches, with 5'10 Conor Garland managing to pull 6'8 Adam Klapka out of the pile."5'10, 165 pound Conor Garland takes 6'8, 235 pound Adam Klapka out of the pile"
A handful of penalties were doled out on the play including a two-minute minor for Nils Hoglander, who cross-checked Brayden Pachel up high to start the scrum. Conor Garland and Adam Klapka both received two-minute minors for roughing as well as a ten-minute misconduct each.
Following the scrum, Vancouver Canucks defenceman unleashed one of the most ruthless and hilarious chirps we've seen in the National Hockey League this season, telling the Calgary Flames that they have holidays starting in two days.
"You have holidays in two days" 😭
The Vancouver Canucks would go on to win the game by a score of 4 to 1, clinching their first division title in 11 years. Vancouver has one more game to go in the regular season, which comes tomorrow night in Winnipeg against the Jets.
