Rick Tocchet addresses the team's play on game four: Lots to work on

The Vancouver Canucks had a comeback for the ages on Sunday evening in Nashville and it made their head coach, Rick Tocchet, proud of the team.

While meeting with the media after the overtime win, Tocchet told reporters that the three minutes where the Canucks tied up the game in the third period won them the contest. Tocchet said that there are positives to take from the game, however, he admitted they have work to do if they want to finish off the series tomorrow at Rogers Arena.





The Canucks headed into Game 4 with a 2-1 series lead and it appeared that they were going to be coming back to Vancouver knotted up at two games a piece, until Brock Boeser stepped up.

With less than three minutes remaining in the third period, Brock Boeser brought the Canucks within one goal. Nearly one minute later, the Predators thought they sealed the victory, but Colton Sissons put the puck off the inside of the post, which led to Brock Boeser picking up the hat-trick with eight seconds remaining in the third period.


In overtime, the Canucks' big trade acquisition this season, Elias Lindholm, scored the game-winner to send the team back to Vancouver with a 3-1 series lead over the Predators.


The Canucks will have an opportunity to win their first playoff series in four years on Tuesday night as they host the Nashville Predators in Game 5 at Rogers Arena. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. PT/10 p.m. ET on Sportsnet across Canada.
