Oilers prospect Quinn Hutson hits incredible trick shot in all star game

Now, you'd think that the Condors would have produced more that just one All-Star this year, given how well many of them have played.

In fairness, one of them (Connor Ingram) is on the NHL roster and the other (Josh Samanski) is playing in the Olympics for Team Germany.

The player that was selected, however, has certainly earned his place among the AHL's best, and displayed some of his skills at the Breakaway Challenge.

Of course, you won't see Quinn make that play in a real gam; but that is part of the reason why the All-Star skills challenges are so much fun, watching young stars let loose and enjoy themselves.

Where Hutson's real-game performances are concerned, he's held his own with the best of his peers.

Over 41 games with the Condors, the 24-year old , undrafted star has recorded 24G and 43 points, and one-goal with the Edmonton Oilers when he was called-up earlier this season.

The Boston University stand-out ranks among the best in the AHL. He is third in goals, ninth in points, and third in powerplay goals.

He also leads all AHL rookies in goals and points and was named the AHL's Rookie of the Month for December after posting 9G and 4A in eight games.

On January 12, 2026, the Oilers signed Hutson to a two-year contract extension at an AAV of $875K.

There is a good chance we'll be seeing Quinn in an Oilers' sweater before the campaign is over, and a better than good chance that he makes the roster at the 2026-27 Oilers' camp.
