The Edmonton Oilers will be taking on the Montreal Canadiens tonight at Rogers Place.

The Oilers have announced a few lineup changes for the game tonight, Vincent Desharnais will not be dressing and will be replaced by Troy Stetcher. Calvin Pickard will be getting the start as they give Stuart Skinner a rest.

Desharnais won't play tonight—replaced by Stecher—Pickard starts vs Montreal.

Oilers have announced that Stetcher will be playing due to Desharnais' finger injury, it will be Stetcher's second game as an Oiler since being acquired, and it seems like coach Knoblauch is looking to get him more rotations to keep him fresh heading into the playoffs.

It must sting for Desharnais to be out of the lineup tonight after he made his best effort to prove he was okay to play. Just one day after breaking a finger against Colorado, Desharnais was back and practice and professing that he wanted to be in the lineup against his hometown Montreal Canadiens. Unfortunately for him, Coach Knoblauch is making the correct decision to hold him out for at least one game and give him time to heal. It seems that Desharnais will be back much earlier than expected, but it's fill not the worst thing to miss one game after a broken finger.
