Leon Draisaitl stuns Oilers fans with wild new photos from wedding

The newlywed Draisaitls have already shared a number of photos from the ceremony and reception, which included over 150 guests and many Oilers players. But now, one new photo has Oilers fans talking.

One photo is getting tons of reactions from Oilers fans, and it's something you rarely see from hockey players nowadays: Leon Draisaitl smoking a cigarette.

Modern day athletes lives' practically revolve around preparing themselves to be in peak physical shape at all times, so it's rare to see a player with a cigarette. That wasn't always the case though, as some NHLers of years past would even smoke in the dressing room.

At the end of the day, Draisaitl is celebrating his wedding like plenty of others do - having more than a few drinks and letting loose. It's awesome to see the Oilers superstar so casually.

Fans on social media certainly loved to see Draisaitl partying with a cigarette.

Leon Draisaitl also shared a few photos of his closest friends attending his wedding, notably including Connor McDavid, Cody Ceci, and Darnell Nurse.

Now that the festivities are over and the players should be returning to Canada, there's potentially some chances for the team to get to work on contract extensions. Hopefully, the Oilers are able to get some more players under contract in the next few weeks.
