Knoblauch issues update on Kulak injury after taking puck to head
Last night's game between the Anaheim Ducks and the Oilers started off with a scary scene when the Oilers defenseman Brett Kulak took a direct hit on the head by a puck that sent him to the dressing room and did not return for the rest of the game. Head coach Kris Knoblauch issued an update on his injury and it appears the prognosis is good.
Knowing that Kulak will be joining them on the two-game road trip is also good news as the Oilers are closing in on clinching their playoff spot.
Kulak has been providing the Oilers with solid defence throughout the year while being on the third D pairing with Vincent Desharnais. Through 72 games played, he has scored three goals with 10 assists for 13 points and is a + 6 with 24 penalty minutes.
The Oilers ended up defeating the Ducks 6-1 and they will be on the road to face off against the St Louis Blues on Monday April 1st game time will be at 9:00 PM eastern.
