The Seattle Kraken faced a tough game against the Dallas Stars and it became even tougher when the team lost one of its best defensemen in former Oiler Adam Larsson due to an elbow major he threw against Stars defenseman Chris Tanev.
During the opening minute of the third period, Tanev was attempting to clear the puck from his own end, Larsson decided to throw his elbow into his head which dropped Tanev to the ice. The referees wasted no time in throwing Larsson out of the remainder of the game by giving him a 5-minute elbowing major and a 10-minute game misconduct.
Stars right winger Joe Pavelski made the Kraken pay as he scored a power play goal on the major. There is no word from the NHL yet if Larsson faces any suspension or fine.
The Stars ended up winning the game 3-0.
