Corey Perry's value as a player and a playoff performer continues to be on display as the 38-year-old winger gave his lessons on playoff hockey and what needs to change.

After the team's practice, Perry sat with several media outlets discussing what went wrong during the Leafs Oilers game last Saturday and how the team can make the changes to avoid those tendencies in the playoffs.

Perry's leadership in the dressing room and on the bench is invaluable as he has been a playoff performer and battler for many years. Having won the cup in Anaheim in 2007 plus Stanley Cup finals that he's been part of gives the Oilers incredible reach into how playoff hockey is played.

Further into his interview, Perry explained how close the Oilers dressing room truly is and how happy his decision to joining the team.

It's been a dramatic turn around for the Oilers after the horrible start they had in the first month in the half of the season. With the hiring of rookie head coach Kris Knoblauch and Oilers legend Paul Coffey while adding Corey Perry later gave the team the change that was needed to turn the tide.

The Oilers then added Adam Henrique, Troy Stecher and Sam Carrick at the deadline gives the Oilers more depth had a better chance to go the distance to the Stanley Cup final.

The Oilers will be at home to take on their bitter playoff rival the LA Kings. Game time will be 9:00 PM eastern on March 28th.
