Patrick Kane's stint with the Chicago Blackhawks looks to be coming to an end with only five games left before the NHL trade deadline on March 3, Chicago may fall apart soon...

Kane said, "You'll probably cherish these five games a little more before the deadline just not knowing what's going to happen.... It's always exciting playing at home, always love playing at the United Center in front of the crowd here."

Kane is the one who chooses if and where he wants to be moved since he has a no-movement clause that can only be waived by himself, as we have known for more than a year. Mark Lazerus, the main Chicago Blackhawks reporter for the Athletic, has responded to information on Patrick Kane's discussions with his agent Pat Brisson, who are apparently now evaluating contending organizations as a fit for #88.

The Dallas Stars and New York Rangers are Patrick Kane's top bidders; Kane has been connected with the Rangers ever since Artemi Panarin relocated to the Big Apple. The Blackhawks were unable to pay "the bread man," who was close with his former teammate Kane, so they dealt him.

The $10.5 million contract Kane is now under ends after this season's NHL playoffs. For the Blackhawks to accommodate Kane's desire to join a Stanley Cup contender, they will certainly have to retain at least 50% of their cap space.
