Marie-Philip Poulin, captain of the Canada women's national ice hockey team, took to Instagram on Friday to share the exciting news of her engagement to teammate Laura Stacey.

Poulin's post included stunning photos of the couple in Hawaii, captioned with the words, "Best question I ever asked. She said OUI." Stacey also shared her joy with a beachside photo, expressing their love with the bilingual caption,

"You•Me•Oui•Forever."

The hockey community quickly showered them with congratulations, including Team Canada and Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner. Poulin and Stacey, who have been teammates for over a decade, have achieved remarkable success together, including a gold medal at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.

Poulin's scoring prowess in four Olympic gold-medal games solidifies her legendary status.
