McDavid's fiancee reveals his insane idea of fun in downtime

You don't get to be as good at hockey as Connor McDavid is without being a freak athlete.

McDavid's fiancée Lauren Kyle recently shared a few videos of the couple hanging out and having fun by doing hill sprints in the middle of a winter's night in Edmonton. That's the kind of freak athleticism you'd see from a player like Connor McDavid, but it's also objectively hilarious if he actually considers this fun. The first video shows McDavid and Kyle doing their nighttime hill sprints.


Seeing McDavid actually do things like this in his free time is a total testament to the work ethic he has paired with his generational talent. Both those traits together, especially his clear dedication to be the best he can be, is a champion calibre combination.


Honestly, it's great to see that McDavid and Kyle are clearly in-synch with their personalities. It's not exactly date night to be sprinting in Alberta winter, but that's them and it's fantastic.
