One of the trade stories at last year's deadline was Jakob Chychrun, and his refusal to play for the Coyotes any longer. Now with the dumpster fire that is the Ottawa Senators, Chychrun has made his unhappiness known again. The senators could look to move Chychrun for future assets, and recoup their first round picks.
One location Chychrun could possibly land is the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers are no stranger to making very big moves at the deadline, and with their defense always in need of improvement, they could move out Kulak or Campbell to be able to take on the Chychrun contract.
Chychrun would be a great addition to the Oilers, as he could fit in the first line pairing with Bouchard and be able to be defensively responsible. He has 26 points in 39 games on an offensively terrible Senators team, showing that he could potentially be another offensive weapon in the Oilers' terrifying arsenal.
