Tyler Toffoli is being connected to both the Vancouver Canucks and Los Angeles Kings in free agency.

This free agency is set to be chaotic, with so many different plyers being told that they won't be re-signed and should start talking to other teams. One of these players is scoring winger Tyler Toffoli, who has been informed by the Jets that they wouldn't be giving him another contract.

Toffoli states that it's his desire to sign a medium term contract, and he already has some suitors. It makes a lot of sense as he is still incredibly productive, being a great goalscorer still. He scored 34 goals and 73 points two years ago, with 33 goals and 55 points last year.

This is between 3 different teams, showing he can be productive on many different teams and with different teammates. Pagnotta states that the teams with the most interest in him this season are both teams he is very familiar with, being the Canucks and the Kings.

The Canucks and Kings are both in need of scoring wingers and Toffoli would bring a huge presence to their teams. Toffoli knows what it takes to win and is a proven playoff performer. He would most likely be looking for a 4 year deal at around 4.5-5M, which would be a great contract to have him on at.

Toffoli is great when he's on his game and when he has great linemates that can feed him the puck. He is a great complementary piece on any line and would be easy to fit in anywhere. It'll be interesting to see if any other teams step into the ring as free agency progresses, since there are many teams who could use a guy like him.
