Evan Bouchard launches relationship with former Oilers hockey ops employee

Bouchard has always been one of the more quiet and reserved Oilers in the locker room, rarely sharing much about his personal life. Now on vacation after being snubbed from Team Canada’s Olympic roster, he’s opening up a little bit.

Today, Bouchard shared a picture of his vacation spot for the Olympic break and his travel companion. He’s in Dubai on a golf course, and tagged former Oilers employee Kaie Doyle.

Going on an overnight trip halfway across the world, this looks like the public launch of a personal relationship between the two.

Kaite Doyle previously served as the Team Services Director in the Hockey Operations Department for the Edmonton Oilers. At the beginning of the 2025-26 season, the Oilers announced the hiring of Kris Horn in that role.

The Team Services Director works closely with the players to provide everything they need, and manage their obligations. They manage flights and hotel accommodations, provide tickets for family members, organize media availabilities, and much more.

In a highlight of Women in Hockey, Doyle revealed she had 12 years experience working in hockey. She’s likely a fair bit older than Bouchard.

We wish all the best to Bouchard and Doyle, and hopefully to see Bouchard come back from the Olympic break rested and ready to dial up his play in the stretch run of the season, and raise his play in the playoffs like he always has.
