Connor McDavid invites all star lineup to personal event this offseason

Oilers superstar Connor McDavid is enlisting an Olympic level lineup of NHL players at this year's charity golf tournament to support the Ben Stelter Foundation - and fans could attend.
McDavid has been working closely with the Ben Stelter foundation for years, and continued on the tradition after the young fans' tragic passing. Ben Stelter's father is now also battling cancer, and McDavid has connected with him during the season since.

For this year's charity golf tournament, McDavid has enlisted Cale Makar, Mitch Marner, Brad Marchand, Brayden Point, Sam Bennett, Sam Reinhart, Josh Morrissey, Drew Doughty, and Nathan MacKinnon.
Not only is that a great lineup to draw attention and funds to the Ben Stelter Charity, but that also looks like a Team Canada bonding moment before the Olympics in February next year.
Fans will actually have the chance to win a round of golf with Connor McDavid and more Team Canada members. By purchasing raffle tickets that go toward the Ben Stelter Foundation, a few lucky fans will win a great experience.
The Great Assist Golf Tournament will be held in Kananaskis Country Golf Course on August 27th, 2025.
It's great that McDavid was able to bring out such a big lineup to support charity, and even for a Team Canada bonding experience - but it's also funny to note how many huge Oilers rivals are involved, like Bennett, Reinhart, and Doughty.
Hopefully the lucky fans that win the experience to golf with hockey superstars have a good game, and the event can do its job to raise money for a great cause.
